A giant fish, one might even say a whale, caught at Rock Creek Lake in the Sierras. I remember this place from camping there as a kid and it looks NOTHING like it used to. Whitty just wants to be in the picture. The whale turned out to be a snag...

This much snow in Pine Valley in April 2006??? Wow, what's going on??? The roads were closed, so we took Old Viejas Grade Road (dirt) in the H2 from east of Alpine into the Guatay area and then into Pine Valley
Ignasi (left) is an exchange student we had from Spain in the summer of 2006. He's now like family. Oddly enough, his sister, Claudia, (second from left) was in Los Angeles part of the time and had a field trip to San Diego. We met her in Coronado for this picture.
